Public Adjusting Service
Public Adjusting Service
Put simply, a Public Adjuster is an advocate for you! A Public Adjuster is a professional claims handler who advocates for the policyholder (also known as the "insured") in appraising and negotiating a claimant's insurance claim. A Public Adjuster is the only authority, aside from an attorney, who can legally represent the interests of the insured. It is most beneficial for the insured to utilize a Public Adjuster when the Insurer has agreed to the legitimacy of the claim, but the agreement of size and scope is yet to be determined.
Because we work for you! "Company" or "independent" adjusters can only legally represent the rights of the insurance company they work for or are contracted by. A Public Adjuster works on behalf of the insured to maximize their claim and look out for their interests.
